Habitat: right outside of the woods in a grass/branch/dirt/moss area touching a cement trail. washington state.
Spore print color: not sure, but I will find out soon!
posting these in the meantime.

What color are there gills, don't eat them. They do not look like anything i can think of.

Cortinarius sp. possibly. Waiting on spore print. Could we get pics of one bifurcated to show how the gills connect to the stipe?

Colors will change, what part of the world you in? general location will help with identification.

I think they would be classified in the Cortinarius collinitus group.
Definitely a bummer batch. Throw them away and keep hunting.

yeah i was hunting for my first time. for like 2 hours. and just as i was about to head home i found these and thought i got lucky. buzzkill hahaha.
