Exploring Unknown Realms- Advice Needed

Hey guys,
So i've read this guy's book, Supernatural, a few years back so this isn't really new to me, but his talk in this video kinda motivated me to actually go for plans that never left my head...
http://truththeory.com/2013/09/24/the-war-on-consciousness-by-graham-hancock-banned-ted-talk/
I've done shrooms a few times, and by few i mean less than 10, and I barely went over a level 3 trip. I decided to finally take things further, and I wanted to ask a few questions:
1. Is it a good idea to experience ayahuasca now or should I push the boundaries of my shrooms expriences first before I go for something as as intense as DMT? I am planning to fly to Peru and do it properly, so I'm asking this first before I go through all that hassle/cost....
2. Are level 4/5 on shrooms completely different than levels 2/3? For someone who's never done psychedelics before, a level 2/3 is a state of mind that he or she probably never thought existed... For someone who experienced a level 2/3, are 4/5 states of mind that i probably cant even imagine?
3. I was also planning to do iboga while in south america to cure some mental issues i have. I always thought iboga was fatal and people here warned against but after reading a lot about it, it actually does wonders and is quite safe when administered by someone professionally... Is it too soon for iboga?
Appreciate all the advice i can get.
Thanks!
-------------------- For years on end I have been sitting here, impatiently awaiting potency: some explosive revelatory surge that will carry me away and permit no looking back. But this moment of deliverance has not arrived, and I have done nothing to hasten it. Perhaps it doesn’t matter. Perhaps I wasn’t meant to do anything. In which case, I have succeeded admirably.

1. if you have the time, money, curiosity to do so, fly, fly away. i know too many people that speak of wanting to do such that, but they must not, for haven't yet. make sure to enjoy all of, or as much you can of Peru's offerings; ayahuasca and many other things.
2. how fun would it be to open up a depth of imagination one knew not to exist.
3. only heard much of iboga when in ties to herion, or other substance abuse. as understand, iboga is not for recreational use. you, most likely, have more knowledge of iboga towards the manner of such use to partake of.
sounds as for much exciting travels planned for future. peaceLove

Different plants are different teachers. I think exploring mushrooms would be a better idea than diving straight into aya/DMT from just a few trips under your belt. There is a LOT to experience, and aya/DMT aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Take it slow, when you know you are ready, go for it. Until then, see how far you can go with mushrooms.

You can't imagine. Nobody can explain. Usually a level 4/5 comes from stronger plants, like DMT/ayahuasca/ibogaine/salvia (but of course you can experience with the regular stuff, just a LOT of it). It isn't something that is too pleasant either, it's just an experience that some people would like to go through themselves every once in a while. I wouldn't recommend it until you are familiar with levels 2 and 3 first, where you have a bit more control of letting go. I a lot of times have a CHOICE of letting go of reality. When your plant doesn't give you a choice, it's WAAAAYYY different. It's more like, "WELL... This is it." BAM. YOU ARE GONE.

If your mental issues can be solved through self therapy, I would recommend that way. Have you ever had a mushroom experience that left you trembling, ready to change your ways about some aspect of your life? They are INSIGHTFUL. You can learn a lot through using mushrooms. Now I imagine (my opinion is based on research, not an actual experience) iboga is similar in how insightful it is. Maybe it IS a very good teacher, but some things are better taught a less intense way.
For example, mushrooms externalize aspects of my life/feelings, and make them apparent during my trips. And after that, the intensity and weight is just multiplied 10 fold. Now that is enough for me to grow as a person. Maybe Ibogaine will help because it multiplies externalized things by 100 fold, or maybe 1,000. That's why I say if it can be solved without hallucinogenics, or as little as possible... do it... But then again, everyone is different. This is just my approach.

I'll go out on a limb here, since I don't do levels...but...FUCK YES!
My most memorable trips are way beyond the ordinary quite enjoyable ones. And the ones I don't remember (thanks to pushing the dosage too far) would probably be way beyond the first ones. Only I don't remember them.
