Cloning woes.
    #18903318 - 09/28/13 03:52 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

I successfully cloned a healthy Maz. fruit and had a pretty damn good flush off of coir/verm.

I'm quite pleased with myself that I was able to do this. However, I think these fruits are bunk. They aren't even bruising that much, it seems, and I would have to say that the potency is very poor. How can you ensure potency when cloning?

You can't, either you have potent genetics or you don't. Once you find a clone that has all the traits you want including potency, you put them in a master slant and grow that clone as many times as you want going forward.

Interesting. Good to know. I'm trying my hand at pan cyans so further cloning experiments will be put on hold.

A good medium between potency and heavy flushes is what I look for, it can be years before you find your master slant. I have yet to obtain what I want in a specimen.
