stacking shotgun terrariums?
    #18901543 - 09/28/13 05:10 AM (10 years, 4 months ago)

I was curious if anyone had input on how well stacking terrariums on top of one of each other would work if space is low, I know it is essential to get airflow through the terrarium and it seems as if it would disrupt this...

I wouldn't unless you could make something like at least 12 inches of dead space between them using 4 upright tubes or something.

I disagree, but I am not an expert cultivator, just a small indoor farmer.

Stacking Shotguns is useless since they work off of air flowing from the holes you drill on the bottom. Covering those holes would completely negate the point of them.

fair enough, thanks for the input.  do you usually want at least a foot of dead space below the terrarium regardless?  didn't know it was that much

the more the better. but you can get away with a 2-3 inches too. it's not ideal though.
