Too much water for the mix....Any experience?

I have an awful habit of making substrates too dry. Part of my problem is that I don't work with measures per se. Most of my work is "about a half a brick of coir and a quart of verm". I have been doing the "Squeeze" on all of my subs, but they always have ended up slightly too dry.
Over the last few nights I prepped/pasteurized (drinking whilst doing it) a brick of coir and 3 quart verm with 6 quarts of water. Mass was spawned to bulk last night after drinking a few quarts of fine lager beer......
I got up early this morning, only to wonder if I overdid it. Seems that I have a pint to a quart too much of water. Wooops..
I am expecting molds due to the excess water. Anyone else do this and how did it turn out?

I did this and got the green. I think you are guaranteed to get trich if you don't get that excess water out asap. I would either attempt to squeeze out the excess right now or toss that mofo.

You used a half qt (pint) of water too much. A brick of coir takes 4 qts of water. Each qt of verm take a half qt (pint) of water

I usually use 1 brick of coir, 2 qts of verm, a handful of gypsum, and 5 qts of water for a 66 qt tub. I use 6 qts of grain spawn

Thanks for the imput guys. Heres the conclusion I quickly came to.
I got my gloves on, and grabbed out a handful and squeezed. It did not seem bad at all. One pint excess over a total mass of 16 quarts is ok in my book.
I did not soak my grain prior to spawn, because simply I did not want to introduce an extra variable right this instant. This may be a saving grace.
I was expecting failure early with this spawn as it was another experiment. I directly added a quarter cup of spent grounds to each jar prior to sterilizing. I Have done this a few times in the past in mini-monos with some success. Generally by the second flush the big green monster shows up. However, fruit sizes are well worth it. I added crushed eggshells this time as a slow acting buffer to the acidity of the coffee...Its my first attempt with eggshells. My theory is that this tub is doomed.

I am of a different mindset I think than most. I have more fun with my experiments that I think I should. I am not a commercial cultivator, and ANYONE with a pressure cooker should be able to spawn a standard coir/verm tub successfully. Its easy to test theories against mini-monos then adapt them to the larger tubs. I am still trying to figure out how to add coffee without inviting contamination before the 3rd flush.
The last few jars done without the eggshells gave me 2 flushes of beefy fruits. I am thinking that the eggshell may allow a 3rd flush. It was 3 shells across 7 jars. Not much, but just a test.
I think that the benefits of coffee grounds warrant each of us to test theories related to the inclusion in our bulk grows.
