I let my grain consolidate. I fruit my trays and tubs when they are ready, which is now for your tub. Let it breathe some fresh air and make magic.

I just saw that. You're good either way. If it makes you feel better, wait 3 days. Otherwise, open her up.

I like to have a small fan near the tub facing away. By near I mean about 4 or 5 feet away. I know you don't want it pointing directly at the tub

I'm with the group I'd fruit that bitch so hard. And a ceiling fan is fine. I use just that in the winter.

Yeah the fan blowing away from the tub. i have never tried a ceiling fan but tbag says it will work fine and I would trust his advice. The main thing is to have air circulating in the room which a ceiling fan certainly does

Yeah, you gotta set it to high. Signs of poor FAE are long skinny mushrooms, aerial mycelium on the stems. Some will say fuzzy feet - and in some instances it can be attributed to lower FAE but in some cases it is genetic. When I get mushrooms with fuzzy feet I just cut right above the fuzz. Usually it grows right over and by 3rd/4th flush if done right and clean water for your dunks you will get new clusters over old clusters.
The dark spots in the picture are spore. This tub is still producing 1- 2 oz flushes with 0 dunks. But you can see new clusters form on old clusters.

Well, that all depends on tub size and mushroom size. Its like asking should I expect my child to be in the average weight and height categories. There are too many variables to tell you what to expect. People will give you estimates, but when I trolled the boards 2 years ago doing BRF I believed people were getting 8oz off of 12 cakes, which we know not to be true. I've gotten single flushes that were 2oz and ones that were 5 or more on a 30qt tub, so its all anyone's guess.
