"Fall" Rye Grass vs. Perennial Rye Grass... Did I buy Rye Berries?

Just got back from my local seed shop. I went to get more RGS, but the proprietor assured me that "fall" rye grass seed is better for my oyster (psylo, hehehe) mushrooms.
The RGS was 5.00/lb where as what he sold me was 2.00/lb (or 1.50 a pound above 10, I got 20).
I'll include a picture. Doesn't the stuff on the left look a TON like berries and not seeds? Let me know I was planning to prep these tonight.
THANKS!
EDIT: forgot to mention, the stuff on the right is definitely RGS
EDIT 2: Yup, looks like berries to me: http://www.amazon.com/Organic-Rye-Berries-28-793/dp/B004R6DHE4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1380332329&sr=8-2&keywords=Organic+Rye+Grain

Looks like rye berries. $2/lb is pretty high too. RR

Damn. Well, I'll make the best of the situation.
I've never tried berries before. Blessing in disguise, I'll get to learn a bit and experiment (blessing but I'm not religious :P).
Thanks RR. Anything you say is the straight truth for me.
Edit: These larger berries will probably be easier for me to try my first G2G with. That's my plan.

It's like 80 cents a pound at my local co-op grocery store for organic rye berries. You can order a bag through them for even bigger discount.

OOO, I'll try that next time. Free shipping even to Canada? I'll search for this now.
I had to go out there to get perlite anywho (as it's time to fruit my first batch with my new injection port and SFD lids ) so it wasn't a total ripoff. $20.00 for a bag about half or 2/3s the size of me. That's reasonable right?
