What are you dressing for?
If it's weekend dressed up casual, I would find a solid color button-up that matches the color of the pinstriping on the jacket, leave the collar and the top button undone, then do a matching dark shade of brown shoes, belt and wristwatch with a nice pair of jeans. Unbutton the cuffs on your shirt when the jacket is on, especially if you have a flip-cuffs.
If you're going for a professional look, never wear shirts with collars like you see in the picture. You'd want a spread-collar or semi-spread collared shirt, and your tie should have colors that match your eyes if possible, but you have to keep the overall color scheme in mind.
When you rock jackets like this, the little details make or break it.

I agree, and that's why that jacket should never be worn in the vicinity of blue jeans. Unless your gay, or from new York city and just like looking like an idiot...

I'm not gay or from NY but I do live in a major metro and most of the yuppie scene here would disagree with you on this one, I see jackets and higher end selvege jeans all the time.

I'm a self employed entrepreneur in my late 20s. Yuppie means Young Urban Professional, of which there are still many in the tech capital where I live. Just because the term came about in the 80s does not mean that it's no longer applicable for describing young metropolitan professionals.

The point I'm trying to get across is that there is no longer a yuppie "scene" you just happen to be a yuppie. Being one you should understand that the tail of that jacket is far too long to be worn worn with jeans. A jacket with a much shorter tail would be more appropriate but only if your into that look.
