I'm actually 19, but I can be a bit immature at times, especially online.
Sorry about this post, I was just curious so I asked. I will keep my posts mature from now on.

In the following graph you can see the approximated decay of the mentioned 1000g worth of mushrooms. We assume that the active half-life is 3 hours. I created the graph by using the following equation found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biological_half-life .
Ct=Co*exp(-kt), decaying level of Mushrooms over time, plotted in the graph Co=1000g, dose entering the body. k = ln(2)/3, here the 3 is the time of the active half-life and the k is the decaying factor. t is the time in hours.

Here is the zoomed in graph and it can be seen that the level of mushrooms in the system is ca 1g at 30h and 0.5g at 33h and therefore Ram Dass is correct.

A guy ate 500mg of 4-aco-dmt and was fine. If someone took the amount of actives in pure form that 1000 dry grams contains, I suspect they'd be fine if they didn't vomit into their lungs.
The person in question would black out, frequently vomit violently, and may experience seizures which may in and of themselves be fatal. They would remember nothing from the experience. It's common for people who take above 10 grams to not remember anything, let alone the equivalent of 1000 grams. With the amount of puking, dehydration would be a real risk.

Good question would be how the stomach and intestines would handle the pressure of the mushrooms swelling up. A 1000g (1kg) of dried mushrooms is a whole 10kg of wet mushrooms. I think consumption of a whole kilo of dried mushrooms is hard to accomplish within reasonable time. That is time before you start to trip hard.
Let say you cap the whole kilo, and you manage to squeeze 0.5g in one capsule. Then you have 2000 capsules to swallow. Let say one capsule will take 5sec to wash down. Then it would take ca 167min (2hrs 47min) to ingest.

Yeah, there is no physical way for someone to actually consume 1000grams dry. I probably should have mentioned that in my first post.
