Why is it majority of college proffesors seem to be liberal? Really just curious and starting to notice this trend.

That's not really the point, is it? They aren't advocating alcohol by admitting that prohibition failed.

I'm just saying that it's kind of silly to think they'd teach pro-drug/anti drug war agenda to high school kids.
I wasn't commenting on the alcohol prohibition.

When you say liberal I think you mean to say that they would usually vote for a democrat. Please let me know if that is correct.
The word liberal means something completely different than democrat. A liberal is a person who wants small central government and many personal freedoms. You don't have to be a democrat to be a liberal. In fact, you can be a liberal conservative :mind blown:
A conservative is a person who likes things the way they are. Conservatives stand for the status quo. This seems counter to almost all of common knowledge, which is always more common than it is knowledgeable.
So it shouldn't be difficult to imagine a liberal conservative. A liberal conservative is a person who lives in a society that has a small central government and many individual freedoms. This liberal gets exactly what a liberal wants, so it makes sense that they would be a conservative, since they stand for that status quo.
Beyond that. We need to redefine the terms with which you label college professors.
This is me using the terms you are familiar with, just to be clear: If you think that they are liberal because they want gun control, gay-marriage, affirmative action, women's right to choose whether or not to have an abortion, secular science classes, and so on, you would be dead wrong. They want all of those things because they are educated.
