Making a long glove out of regular surgical gloves, Glad Bags & rubber bands

Currently I've been using a homemade cardboard glove box with dish gloves taped to the holes of my glove box. The issue with this is that each time I flame sterilize the syringe, I need to open the lid up increasing the risk to any airborne contaminates from the air above.
I'm thinking about making a new glove box from a clear tupper ware box with out sealing the gloves to the holes so I can easily remove the syringe in and out of the holes. The only issue I could think of was having my bare arm skin exposed inside the glove box.
So I was looking at the forums to find a place where I could purchase long gloves and it seemed very costly both in time and money (since I'd have to mail order them). I came up with an idea. Maybe someone's already suggested it but I couldn't find anything in the forum.
I'm thinking about buying the twist tie one gallon Glad bags, poking my hand through the bottom and placing a clean rubber band around my wrists to secure the bag then wearing surgical gloves on top. I haven't tried this yet but hopefully it'll work out nicely. I just wanted to offer two cents to the forum for people looking for cheap alternatives to long gloves.

Don't attach any gloves at all. You want to work in a still-air box, not a glove box. The purpose of a still-air box is to let the contaminants settle and stick to the bottom and sides, allowing relatively contaminant-free work space.
The point is not to completely seal your work area, as one must flame-sterilize outside and bring utensils in to work. It would be unwise to flame-sterilize inside your still-air box. Attaching gloves does not allow you this critical process.
Wear tyvek sleeves to cover up your arms. If you really can't be assed to spend a couple bucks, wear a freshly-laundered long-sleeve shirt.
Here's my favorite still-air box tek: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/14722730#14722730
