Overwintering Khat

So I have been growing this beauty for about 15 months, she really took off this summer. Last year she was small enough to keep under the light with my cacti, but that is definitely not an option this year. Since I don't have any south facing windows, or any that will provide adequate light, I need some tips on putting this thing into dormancy? I imagine a major trim is in order, but don't know how much to take or what conditions to keep her in afterwards. I plan on plucking one or two of the rooted off-shoots from the bottom to place under the light (just in case), but would hate to lose the mother. Thanks for looking!

Im not too familiar with khat, however with most plants, it looks as if a trimming is in order for your plant there. I'd imagine as long as you kept it under 30%-50% of the total plant mass then it can't shock the plant too much? <snip> those are beautiful plants.

I have read that khat is very drought tolerant. So I think you should limit the water to once evey 3 or 4 weeks. I have noticed that most house plants require very little water. Good luck with it
BTW, that is a beautiful plant!
