hi, i have a 75 watt Flood Plant Light Bulb. it has 700 lumens for brightness. its a blue light. will that work for my cakes?

Not well. You want something in the 5000-7000K range. It's not about lumens and how strong the light is, it's about the color temperature.

The lighting requirements of mushrooms are on the shotgun terrarium tek page.

Indirect sunlight is great, and a few minutes or so of direct sunlight is going to work wonders to help stimulate a nice pinset and to help the mushrooms develop to full size and weight.  Make sure it's a bright window.

Absent that, use bright fluorescent lighting with the fixture as close as possible to the terrarium without causing excessive heating.

lowes would be 2 hours from me. i live in a small town not much to get here for anything good. so direct sunlight for a few minutes is okay? i also have a bluish clear container. it's fairly see threw. do you think that will be fine?

you know, its any blue container that you can see threw it. just not as much as the clear containers

the reason why you see just 1 cake is the rest of my jars didnt start all at the same time. so i guess i was unlucky and i have to do 1 at a time. any good advice would be great thanks

you can see 2 bigger holes because the shity plastic chipped when drilled. shouldnt cause a problem though
