I recommend you to get on a REALLY GOOD multi (this one will last you 6 months as 1 a day is enough) because most people who come off a streak of eating processed foods have multiple deficiencies and are actually starved of nutrients while oversaturated with calories.

I've been eating less and being more active, now I just need to start eating better food.

You did the hardest part, eating better food is a matter of getting in the kitchen and cook food from raw ingredients (cooking is exercise too), and you will find that *real food* is actually super tasty, junk food is convenient and druggy but a meal containing lets say a quarter pound of fatty fish, half a pound of mixed stirfried veggies and a few potatoes is quite fulfilling compared to fastfood.

What you'll miss most of all is the CONVENIENCE of convenience food, actual whole foods cooked right are damn tasty and because of low caloric density in veggies you can pack a mountain of food on your plate without guilt. :feelsgoodman:

If you eat shit food you feel like shit, you look like shit, and you smell like shit. Literally. The last time I ate pizza hut I could smell it on myself for days :puke:

Good food is just.. So good. When you stop drinking soda and eating sugar by the handful at each sitting you realize that fruit is super sweet, honey and ripe bananas are sickly sweet. Chopping up a salad takes 5 min, fills you up more than fast food, and gives you more energy.

That is mostly your self awareness mixing with your subconscious morals and knowledge about what is good, and bad to eat.

If you eat something, knowing it is bad for your; you're far more aware from that point to "expect" un-health; whether that comes in the form of a stomach ache, feeling greasy; or mentally dirty - because you allowed yourself to eat something you knew you shouldn't.

sometimes it really is the food. if you listen closely to your body it will tell you what it does and doesn't like. it is true if you take notice of the way you feel after eating a certain meal.

Truely, I appologize for not including that, if you eat a bucket of feces, you'll probably puke.
