I feel evil the few times I've eaten meat for whatever reason (vegetarian almost completely for 5 years and counting).
If I eat much in the way of junk/"good" food, I feel like a fatty.
IDK about dirt though... I'm still thinking.
You having to take a shower's kinda extreme man.

That is mostly your self awareness mixing with your subconscious morals and knowledge about what is good, and bad to eat.
If you eat something, knowing it is bad for your; you're far more aware from that point to "expect" un-health; whether that comes in the form of a stomach ache, feeling greasy; or mentally dirty - because you allowed yourself to eat something you knew you shouldn't.

Idk I've never thought about it too much. Eating junk food doesn't bother me, albeit I don't eat it that much..
Only thing that bothers me, is that I'm often low on cash and because of that I'm forced to eat the same(cheap) stuff day after day. But then again, it's food so, meh

If I eat too much fat or too much sugar or salt in a sitting I feel ill.
Candybars, soda (HFCS or diet), McDonalds, too much cheeses.. those kinds of things.
Guys, when you get older you will notice these things more strongly. If you dont take them to excess you'll also get much more milage out of your trips when you're older in terms of Depth and intensity.

This is exactly how I feel. Except the main fear is how painful it is going to be on my stomach, I relate ALL foods to a scale of pain... How much will pain will this cause my stomach? How bad is it, really?
A lot of foods cause me pain, so I expect that "unhealthy" aspect.
But yeah I never eat pork and if I do I feel dirty ( not like take a shower, but on the inside I feel gross and like my body hates me ), same with any sort of meat that isnt grass fed.

Went on a diet, and then the first time I ate fried chicken after eating extremely healthy for a couple of months, I just felt horrible... Not guilty but there was a physical sensation.

sometimes it really is the food. if you listen closely to your body it will tell you what it does and doesn't like. it is true if you take notice of the way you feel after eating a certain meal.

I dieted low carb for some time then decided to treat myself to some apple pie. I felt a bit sick but above all I got in a feeding frenzy, I wanted more! more! more! All that stuff low carb gurus say about sugar acting like a drug is true. I was fiending after it like it was a stimulant

A few months back I ate fast food for the first time in about 5 years.
10 minutes in - start to feel a bit queasy
30 minutes in - I have a headache walking back to my car, start to feel a bit sluggish
45 minutes in - I have violent diarrhea.

Food is a natural way to activate some "feel good" receptors. Just like sex, and excreting waste, it's hard-wired into our brains to make us feel accomplished and good. It's a lot more complicated that that; but it goes to show food can be just a addicting as drugs.

I recommend you to get on a REALLY GOOD multi (this one will last you 6 months as 1 a day is enough) because most people who come off a streak of eating processed foods have multiple deficiencies and are actually starved of nutrients while oversaturated with calories.
Quote:
I've been eating less and being more active, now I just need to start eating better food.
You did the hardest part, eating better food is a matter of getting in the kitchen and cook food from raw ingredients (cooking is exercise too), and you will find that *real food* is actually super tasty, junk food is convenient and druggy but a meal containing lets say a quarter pound of fatty fish, half a pound of mixed stirfried veggies and a few potatoes is quite fulfilling compared to fastfood.
What you'll miss most of all is the CONVENIENCE of convenience food, actual whole foods cooked right are damn tasty and because of low caloric density in veggies you can pack a mountain of food on your plate without guilt.

If you eat shit food you feel like shit, you look like shit, and you smell like shit. Literally. The last time I ate pizza hut I could smell it on myself for days
Good food is just.. So good. When you stop drinking soda and eating sugar by the handful at each sitting you realize that fruit is super sweet, honey and ripe bananas are sickly sweet. Chopping up a salad takes 5 min, fills you up more than fast food, and gives you more energy.
