some questions on fruiting in vitro

planning on using some midwest spawn bags (figured I'd give it a shot) to fruit in vitro, however, I was a little confused on the process: do you not open the bags until harvest, leaving them entirely untouched? or is there necessary fanning and misting? I read somewhere that someone had taken the bags, set them in a tub (possibly on their side to increase surface area for growing? I don't know), and once colonized simply cut the top of the bags and fruited like that. would this work as well, requiring typical fanning and misting? thanks for the help guys.

I have never used bags but I gotta ask what you have against a good old SGFC. You will probably see better results. Cubes are pretty resilient, I read about a guy who tried to flush a monotub and ended up with shrooms growing in his toilet. Pretty sure the pinset was not impressive tho Yeah you could fruit in the bag, yeah you might have to mist and fan a bit, yeah you might get mushies, you might even get a good pinset. But doing things by the book or at least in a proper FC will up your odd's that things turn out well.

also considering doing this. what would the proper technique be, just get the whole cake out of the bag and fruit it on top of perlite in a SGFC just like you would a pf cake?
