Idk if I'd consider them comedic genius, but compared to southpark I'd say that statement is totally justified.

South Park was funny about 52 years ago when it first came out and was edgy...now its just a played-out constant remake.
Sunny In Philly keeps it fresh & funny.
If you need either of those things explained to you then there is no hope for you.

Sunny isn't that awesome.
If a show doesn't make me laugh in the first 10-15 min, I wont watch it.
Ever.

I used to dislike Sunny because I never actually sat down and watched it.
One of the best comedies on television. If you disagree, what do you watch that is so funny? South Park is already out of the question, it's humor is very juvenile. Not to say I dislike it, but it is a lot more hit or miss compared to Sunny.

Yes, Always Sunny is definitely one of the best comedies on America TV right now. That dude probably watches Will & Grace and Everybody Loves Raymond re-runs. And he also watches American Idol. Hey VivaLaMooshie...enjoy your Paula Deen cooking shows. MAKE SURE TO USE EXTRA BUTTER!!

Charlie going on the date with the cute Asian woman and Charlie is supposed to tell her that he is a philanthropist...instead he tells her that he is a "full-on-rapist" while his hornet stings bleed on his face. Poor Charlie! At least he gives it a chance!

you on the rock bro?
South Park has 4 times the longevity of its always sunny, and dont even try to tell me that its always sunny isnt already stale. The past two seasons have been pretty terrible.
"The Gang Recycles The Trash?" Seriously? An episode that admittedly regurgitates all their best of moments?
Put down the pipe yo.

I don't really watch TV.
Paula Deen cooking shows? Lmao I would never eat her food.
So what if I don't like a TV show, no need to be a dick about it.

I found that to be a pretty creative idea.

Apples and oranges. Both are excellent shows. Southpark is more serious normally and ends with a moral. Sunny is just a group of low class drunk idiots screwing everything up hilariously.
I just watched this episode

when frank pretends to be Charlie's limo driver for that date, and Charlie throws up like 200 blood capsules all over her and frank.
Charlie: I been poisoned by my constituents!
Frank: Would you like a nice egg in this trying time?
