identify help
    #18890678 - 09/25/13 06:40 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

Just picked these.  Southeast Alabama
These were found in horse manure.  Please excuse my lack of knowledge, I've read a much as I understand.

Habitat: house manure, shady area.  Horse lives in corral eats hay and natural vegetation, cows lived here at some point

Stems: white, very bendable approx 1 to 2cm  wide

Gills: strange shade of brown/grey

Caps: shiny white to greyish brown

Probably Panaeolus papilionaceus but it is hard enough identifying with a picture, much less without.

Oh if they are you can expect stomach cramps, gas, and diarrhea. Thanks is about it.

Should probably be in the identification forum though.

Edit: I don't speak effin latin!
