I know this is pretty vague, they're the first mushrooms i've taken pictures of and I didn't keep them. I found them walking home from the hospital on someones front lawn lol, (it was just an appointment )
If its easy to tell, what are they! If not, dont worry about it aha

Cheers! Shorty

the left one looks quite amanita-ish to me
although i can't verify a volva at the base either because its not there or because the sun hitting it is creating a really bright reflection and i cant make it out

The first one looks like a white amanita which are deadly poisonous. Not sure about the second one.
I know this post was probably a one-off, but if you would like more accurate ids in the future or for anyone to spend any time thinking about the identification of mushrooms you're interested in, it's best to fill out an ID form (listed in the posts at the top of the forum page) and provide pics showing the cap, gills, stem, and substrate- your pics aren't bad, though!
Enjoy what looks by your photo to be a sunny day.
-------------------- I advise any noob looking to identify mushrooms to fill out the ID form and provide clear photographs. Knowledge is a privilege and deserves respect. Let's give due props to the experts!

yep. unless its hella old/dry
all mushrooms reproduce via spores. just put like a glass over the cap (gill side down) so they dont blow away

Very small or dried-out mushrooms sometimes cannot be printed, and inky caps will often turn into goo instead, but otherwise basically any mushroom can produce a spore print.
Humidity is required for the spore release mechanism to work; if a cap is dried out, it sometimes helps to put a drop of water on it before covering it.
