Habitat:
I found these in my cow/horse pasture in North-East Georgia. They were growing on old decomposing hay near old cow dung.

Gills:
dark gray with a little hint of blue and brown.

Stem:
long white, hollow, sticky.

Cap:
The small caps are a light cream brown then fades up to a darker rich carmel towards the nipple. The mature ones are more solid carmel brown but the nipple is still darker.

Spore print color:
black purple

Bruising:
no bruising.

they look really viscid on the cap making me think they are related to waxy caps

but ive only ever seen waxy caps in really vibrant reds and yellows

basically what im saying is i have no idea what that could be

I think maybe Protostropharia semiglobata with a funky colored cap or another Stropharia species is alo possible.

Op, don't wash your mushrooms before photographing them, it complicates the process.

Perhaps. I don't really see a point in speculating based on these pictures though. Strophariaceae.

I didn't wash the caps before photographing them. I had just picked them after a light drizzle.

The caps had this sticky coating on top, but if you touched it, the sticky ooze just pilled right off.

Here are some more pictures now that they have been sitting.

Sorry, I've forgotten what it's like to live somewhere where it actually rains. They may be a Deconica species like D. coprophila.
