They may be Agaricus. Post a picture when they mature.

And those relatively unopened gills probably should be lighter in an agaricus?
Maybe the augustus is different from the other varieties, but unopened caps have cream gills, they don't start to pink up pretty much 'till they get a bit open...
They sure look like some tasty agaricus from the top down, tho'. And the princes I've found do rather cluster... If these were happy with goat poo they might have fruited wildly... I don't think they look like they're growing off of wood.
-------------------- "Shrub, 30-90 cm. Leaves 2.5-) 4-9 cm, sessile or amplexicaul, broadly ovate to ovate-oblong, obtuse or rounded to subapiculate or subacute, when crushed not smelling of goats." "The initial quake was a 6.6 but fairly shallow. I felt it as a prolonged up and down vibration followed by a jolt forward and then to the left, like square dancing."

Said maybe but I think they're wrong. Does that look like any kind of woodlover to you?

Agaricus augustus. Smell it after you cut it.

It was difficult for me to smell the almond on the first few I took - now I can pick it up right away. A good sniff on the top of a fresh cap and like cameal said...
Crush the bottom of the stem and see if it bruises yellow, a little or a lot?
I dunno if they're big enough for Augustus... I'd expect to see at least a few of those much larger if so, but I don't have direct experience with any of the smaller Agaricus. Yet. The augustus are so tasty I can't wait to find some of the others. Man, the smell when they're sauteed!
