Straw to Cpoo ratio for substrate?

So its my first bulk grow after hanging around for a year and learning the ropes.
I gotta square bale of straw and 60 lbs of Cow manure to last me the winter.
Now I'm only doing a 66qt monotub today, so any advice on ratios of straw to manure, and spawn to substrate?
All advice is welcome.

2 parts straw, 1 part poo, 1 part vermiculite.

Now is that ratio on volume or weight?

We almost always work with volume unless mass is specified.

Sweet, I'm just growing cubes so I'll just trust my gut for consistency then, I was just wondering if you had it down to specifics, I'm just very careful when trying things out.

Cow poop basically turns into a sandy/muddy mess when it is hydrated, which is why you don't want too much in your mix. The vermiculite will help soak up excess water.

Aha, ok, I'm definitely getting Horse Manure next time around, I really should have looked into horse vs cow manure, cows like 5 bucks cheaper, didn't realize the difference in consistency.. shouldn't have cut corners on my substrate..

I'd just use the straw by itself and leave the cow manure out. Cow manure and verm make a nice substrate for tray culture, and horse manure and straw works well, but not straw and cow manure, as the manure doesn't tend to stay mixed with straw, but usually separates and ends up at the bottom of the straw log or whatever. In my experience, mixed substrates tend to work better than not, in monotubs anyway. check out the links in my sig for my mixed substrate formula.
