No need to get butt hurt op.
most everyone has told you to see a psychiatrist.

i don't remember getting butthurt. I defended my position in a rational way.

:callingbullshit:

I was abused as a kid but in a non-conventional way. More verbal punishments, and being isolated OFTEN. (if you can even call that abuse, I just am right now for simplicity)

I'm the result of stewing in my own thoughts for 20 some years. So talking to you people can really help me

I'd definitely call verbal abuse abuse.  In fact, it can be more hurtful than physical abuse and the harm longer lasting.  At least that has been my experience as I have suffered both as well.

Keep talking about this to whoever you choose, just keep talking.  I think you are less likely to act on this if you are open and honest about it.

The act of seeing a HELPLESS animal whine and cry in pain is a symptom of being a BITCH.

Your entire life you've been shit on and nobody gives a fuck about you. You're always the person who nobody lets win or pick on because you're an easy target. You can't express your own ideas with authority and you fear retribution from those that hurt you.

So what do you do? You see something like a helpless animal that is weaker than you (inferiority complex). You do this because it's the only thing you can stick up to because it's weaker than you are just like when you are around others.

After a while, you will HAVE to act on this urge and it'll start simple. Just small torture of animals and you will be begin to feel power. Something you have never felt in your life before. Now that you start feeling power, you will begin to get confident and finally be able to move to humans. You will "get back at the world" by killing random people until finally one day you die or get caught.

Go see a therapist....

Yeah it a key component in the serial killer mentality. I would go see someone asap. I can barely even handle seeing a dead kitten let alone causing it.

OP: I occasionally have thoughts like this.

There's a book, "Imp of the mind" all about this. This obsessive thought takes many forms and I think it's pretty common.

Have you ever had the thought like "well what would happen if I just jerked the wheel of my car to the right and slammed into that telephone pole?". I sure have, a billion times. But I haven't hit a telephone pole yet.

Often times I'd get the urge to punch my boss in the face. Unfortunately I never did this, cause he sure was a prick.

I've also had rape fantasies at times.

I've had a few cats and I absolutely loved them. I still love cats, and nothing cuts to my core deeper than seeing a dead cat on the road. Seeing a dead cat makes me deeply emotional and sometimes I'll think about it the whole day after seeing it.

But at the same time, on occasion I'll get the thought that I should snuff out or otherwise harm a cat. I think how it would sound for the cat to struggle.

I have never acted on this, and don't think I'm a sociopath. I think thoughts like these are well within the range of human thought. I just see it as a circus in my mind - the human brain thinks tens of thousands of thoughts in a day.

I'd seek help if it is causing a lot of distress for you. I'm gonna say, you're not a psychopath if you recognize these impulses as bad, and don't have trouble stopping yourself from acting.

that makes a lot more sense that what most people said. I get all of that, except the crashing car one. Used to though

Every single time I see a Chihuahua or similar "artificially created abomination" whose owner calls it a dog, I would absolutely love to stomp the fuck out of it. I hate these little bulging eyed, yapping, pissing little fucks. They fucking deserve to die.

As for your desire to kill small animals, it is totally natural. It is a basic primordial instinct found in most predatory species. You probably would have been some type of hunter in a hunter/gatherer population prior to "civilized" society taking over. And by civilized I mean those that abhor hunters and those that kill. All the while eating their steaks, bacon, walking with leather shoes, handbags and purses, and of course using medications, and cosmetics that were tested on small animals which were often tortured for years to test their products.

Of course that is different. Out of sight out of mind.

There is a difference in killing for necessity, hunters, and just having the urge to kill small hellpless animals is a bad sign

Native Americans used to injure birds rendering them unable to fly and let their children "play" with them. Of course they played with them until they quit moving.

Who can walk past a car with a little yapping chihuahua in it and NOT want to smack the hell out of it?

Smacking the hell out of it and holding it down and hurting it just to hear it cry and enjoying it is a very unhealthy mental problem.

I don't want to smack the chihuahua.  I want to smack the stupid fucking owners for buying the damn little ankle nippers, thus, perpetuating the breeding of these vile little creatures.

Where did you get that one? A white person's history book trying to portray Native Americans as vile beings? BITCH PLEASE

There's a difference between killing for necessity and killing for pleasure. Killing for necessity is a NATURAL process required for predatory species to acquire energy. Killing for pleasure is a process only found in deranged humans who have severely underdeveloped cerebral hemispheres of the brain. So basically killing for pleasure is form of mental retardation because the brain can't control its own outlandish desires.

That's like saying "The bear attacked the man because he was in the mood for killing and seeing the man suffer under his enormous ego!" UMMM no. The bear attacked the man because he was most likely in the mood of hunger. Have you ever been so hungry that you would be willing to eat out of your comfort zone. Let's say you really enjoy chinese food but absolutely hate mexican food. Let's say you've been starved for 10 days and all of a sudden, a huge whopping entree of mexican food is presented to you. You eat it so fast and aggressively it almost looks like you're an animal in the process. There's an anology that you'll hopefully understand but since your brain is underdeveloped and likes to act on ego issues (yes, the desire to kill and attack is an ego/identity issue; the abused turns into the abuser in most cases of family violence), you most likely won't get the logic.

Dolphins have been shown to kill animals not for eating or protecting their territory. Humans are not he only species to kill for fun, much less the "deranged ones"..

And no I'm not saying that makes it okay for humans to do it just for the record. Just pointing out the fallacy in your post.

If someone came to me talking about an urge to hurt small animals, my first suggestion would be to try psychedelics. I've always felt that psychedelics causes a type of thought process that would kill any urge to bring harm to anything or anyone. I mean, I've tripped and felt intense compassion for intimate objects. Well... since it's being posted in this forum, I guess I must be wrong.
