Purple mycelium on bulk?

So after harvesting first flush (4oz dry - nice) the mycelium took on this purplish hue...no weird smell at all - the colour seems to be the actual myc colour i.e. not something sitting on top...
Anyone got any idea what's going on here? COntam? Bruising? Spores?!?! Should I ditch this?
Did a search but couldn't find much on purple myc on bulk...doesn't look like "lipstick" mold

That's all fine, when you aggressively touch a mushroom (by their standards) they do bruise that color ( a blue-ish green). You'll ave to expect that after every flush because you are cutting it, which leads to bruising.
All looks great though, gratz on the first flush.

Thanks for the reply Zep!
I expected the bruising I.e. the heavy bruising on the cut stems but I have not seen that purple coloured myc before...so are you saying that is also a bruising colour??

It's pretty damn purple !
Some spores probably dropped on it but I've only ever experienced blackish spores

It's only spores, nothing to worry about. If you dislike having spores on the sub harvest a little bit earlier next time!

I don't mind the spores in fact the colour looks amazing but I freaked out a bit when I saw the change in colour

Oh sorry the purple on the ground is in fact spores, look up the blue meanie print
It's completely and ridiculously purple lol Depending on what kind of cube you acquired, the spores will be a little different in color.

At first I couldn't tell what the bruising was from, but now I notice it's from cutting the mushrooms off. Spores for sure Happy Cultivating!
