I just don't care about school this semester

I'm supposed to be graduating this winter with a degree in computer science, yet I am probably going to have to drop 4 out of my 5 classes, thus forcing me to graduate in the spring of 2014.
I don't understand why I don't give a fuck about my classes this semester .
My parents are paying for me, too.

Its because your parents are paying The gravity of the situation doesnt sink in as much because you have substantially less to lose. If it were your money things would be different im sure
Plus everyone goes through times where they have no motivation

This is pretty typical behavior for millennial brats.
You grew up in the "facebook" generation, where you developed the impression that life revolved around you. Your parents inadvertently reinforced this by trying to be "good parents" and catering to your every need.
Millennial brats are cute when they enter the workforce. They come in to the office with their shiny new Apple ipod/iphone etc. and at the first sign of adversity or failure, they absolutely crumble. They've usually never had anyone tell them "tough shit" or to "suck it up", and its humorous watching them try to learn on their own.
You've failed at an incredibly easy task in life: parent funded college. Get ready, it doesn't get any easier sunshine.

Your response is pretty comical, thanks. Based on my OP you jumped to the conclusion that I'm a brat, how logical. You read me like a book.
I can't believe you brought up Facebook.
How about instead of trying to make me feel bad you actually try to help.

OP, you're just not ready for the real world, so you're trying to delay that outcome.
You are trying to buy time, this is typical human behavior, it's not the end of the world, just recognize for what it is, you need more time to mature.

Ya, I guess you're right.
I'm ready now, but that means I'll have to wait til spring of next year for real.

Use the interim time to do something productive/beneficial.
I went through the same thing and know how it is (minus the parent funding)
Basically pick something up in that break that will get you to a happier place in your life and that will allow you to look back and say "Hey ... I did that. Surely I can do this"
For example hit the gym and tone up or something
Or use the time to learn a new skill of some sort.
But basically do something NOW even if it is not college. Then you will smash it up
Best of luck to you buddy. Maintain focus and believe in yourself and you will do fine. The hardest part is seeing where you went wrong

Except for the fact that I was pretty much spot on.
Here's some actual, legitimate help: Get off your ass, go to class, get good grades, and pass. Suck it up, and put in the work.
Once you're a grown up, nobody is going to hold your hand through life. Your boss isn't going to coddle you while you do some "soul searching" or sit around being emo and ranting about "woe is me, I'm so unmotivated".
You should be kissing your parent's ass too. There is unlikely to be a point in life where anyone in their right mind says: "Oh, you were just too damn lazy to go to class and pass?, no worries, here's another entire semester worth of tuition and costs, you just try extra hard this time ok? and pinky swear on it!."

whether you like it or not OP, #3 is right.
I dont think he/she is belittling you or trolling you. they're just telling you the truth you haven't been told/don't want to be told/don't want to believe.
and it will probably be awhile before you understand that. good luck.

Seirously. I just posted it, and I'll post it again. You don't get another shot at getting good grades. I slept in, skipped classes, went out late, and did barely enough to scrape by and graduated with a 2.49 GPA and 2.01GPA in my major. I started with A's and B's and by time I graduated I was getitng C's and D's. My job pickings are slim, and I have very little chance at getting into grad school.
Suck it up. It's worth it. Exercise. Eat well. Go to the library and log of the Shroomery. Get good grades.

you asshole. if i had anyone to pay for me to learn COMPUTER SCIENCE i would bend over and accept it freely and not be a depressed pussy about it. It is well sought after. put your problems aside and deal with them outside of the focus of school.

Well I don't know why people think that giving you the old man suck it up talk will help. You already know you need to suck it up and push on through, but something is preventing you hence your thread.
You've got to figure out why all of a sudden you've lost motivation. Usually there is a pretty solid reason though occasionally college students lose motivation without apparent cause.
You need to solve this problem. Even if you managed to power through this semester, you'll likely be in the same place once you graduate, and as the other posters have said the real world will not give you the same leeway that your university will.
Did you recently break up? Any major life changes recently? Any recent injuries or illnesses? Any concussions? Are you depressed? Anything else bothering you? History of ADHD or learning disabilities?
Use your school counseling services. Your parents are paying for them, and if you are struggling and not taking advantage of resources like that then you are being stupid.
Do you have a job lined up for when you graduate? If not, you need to take a step back. That's a huge mistake especially for someone in your field.
Have you had internships/coops? If not and you can convince your parents to foot the bill (or are willing to take the debt on yourself), that extra semester (or even two) if used properly might come in real handy in terms of using your college resources to get internships/coops, networking, and having a job lined up for when you do graduate.
Some will disagree with me, but dropping 4/5 classes looks really bad on a transcript if you have graduate or professional school aspirations. If there is a medical reason like depression then you might be better off taking a medical withdrawal and just starting over the semester once you've worked through whatever issue.
I almost dropped out of college during one particularly rough semester, I dropped one course and somehow (adrenaline? rage?) managed to push through with a 4.0 in all but one extremely difficult engineering class. It worked out (I guess), but ultimately I wish I had taken that semester or the one following off and focused on what had me seriously depressed. The problems I ignored in order to power through definitely came back to bite me in the ass.
In any case, there's no shame in taking time off as long as you use that time constructively and actually deal with your problems instead of running away from them.

Been there. Picking up all the pieces now years later. I was two semesters away from a chemical engineering degree and i fucked it all up. It was one of the few things i have largely come to regret in my life.
