Ok, so I went out last night for the 1st time and were out looking from 12am - 8am. That's along time when you don't know fields and it's in the dark hehe. Learned alot... but next time should go during day to fnid the best places first. We were in SE TX around Tyler
Also it appeared that many places we went to were already picked over. There were places that had TONSS of cow shit, but no mushrooms!! Then tthere were places with not as much shit but had more mushrooms.
Out of the ones we got it looks like there may be about 3 different types. I can get spore prints if needed.
NONE of the mushrooms are blueing that I can see
ALL

Habitat: Where does it grow? pastures
Stem: brown
Cap: tan/white, has nipple
Bruising: none
#1 species

#2 species

#3 species

#4

#5 species

Thanks everybody!! I hope i did this right!! I appreciate all the help in ID'ing them

Thanks for the ID man!
Hmm I don't get it. We must've hit up 20-30 fields between 3 different cities, going about 20-100 yards into each field. And not 1 of them had anything that resembled a cube (except maybe pic #1).
I guess either I went the wrong time after rain or i went to the wrong fields. Or they were already picked over?

It's all about looking harder and harder. I've been out over 10 times this summer and found 1 super small cube and one cube pin. Don't forget about panaeolus cyanescens. They look like the ones you have in 2-5 but they generally have some gold on the cap, they have a thinner cap, and they will bruise a very dark blue. I generally find about 10-20 p. cyans per trip. I think I might get lucky when I go on friday though. conditions are favorable

Oh wow..so you haven't found any cubes in 10 trips?? haha damn, them little basterds don't wanna be found do they! must not be too common for that area. I assume you're talking about SE tx similar to area i visited?
If you're talking about the same area as me, why would friday be favorable weather? All I see is this entire week haha ... sorry my newb ass is still to newb to know better i guess
