My first signs. Noticed some this morning. Its 5:39. Pretty sure I checked yesterday and say nothing.
Any pics here of cobweb in brf jars? Could only find bags.

It is a little early for me to tell. I def don't like the way it looks. It is too thin and whispy but sometimes early growth can look like that. You'll know for sure soon. If it is cobweb it will envelope that jar very very quickly. Within a couple days

Just show a new pic tomorrow and I can tell you for sure. Like I said early growth of cube mycelium can look like that. I wouldn't be alarmed yet

From what I understand cobweb is pretty rare in jars. Thats how all mine looked when they started.

I can see through it.. only that one pic has the solid white. If its weak myc how can I strengthen it orbisbit normal to start like that? Will it take over in another week or two?
Sponsor spores by the way.

If your using a MultiSpore syringe and you get some mycelium you're not wanting. You should look into isolating a strain with agar. This way YOU pick what you grow based on how the mycelium grows.
It's impossible to tell what kind of aggressive growth you'll be getting with an MS.
With Multispore, took my jars a month to colonize fully.
With a strain isolate going, I was able to take off 3 weeks of that time

Multispore is a term used when your basically buying a syringe from a sponsor. It's not an isolated strain due to it having many spores with many different genetics. With all the genetics trying to grow, each is a different speed, how aggressive it is, ect. It will not all be the same growth due to this. That is why people use agar to isolate the best of that strain from a syringe OR from a clone that the MS grew. It's a process but once you get there, it's worth it.
I have a couple GT syringes and I did one MS grow with them (took forever to colonize everything, for sure over a month) i took that same syringe and made some agar to put in petri dishes. Basically inoculated the dish with very little of the liquid, I waited awhile, transferred the good looking mycelium out to a new dish and so on and so forth. I did that about 5 times (transferred the best mycelium i saw) Soon enough I've isolated a strain and right now it's colonizing in a monotub. My colonizing times also went from a month down to a week doing isolates and grain to grain transfers.
