My guess is Psathyrella sp. but you may be right.

Seems, ironically, too robust as scrawny as it may be.... And are my eyes or is the camera fooling me when I see a brown spore smudge on the stipe?

After a little catching up, that might as well be Coprinellus micaceus.

Amongst "coprinoids" I am most familiar with micaceus.
These look like atramentaria

"They also grow quickly and are strong enough to break through concrete and granite. A strand of mycelium can hold up to 30,000 times its own weight. When dried, it insulates better than manufactured materials and is water resistant and nontoxic, and in tests the material has been proven to tolerate the heat of a blowtorch. And yet, it is 100% biodegradable if left exposed to the elements (the same as wood). These properties make mycelium a perfect insulation material."
Shit's amazing my friend.

Coprinellus sect. Micacei, if you want a name that may not be necessarily correct you can call them C. micaceus. You will need good microscopy and perhaps DNA too before anyone can tell you if you're right or not though. Also some younger specimens too...
