Yeah, it's too bad The Hunter blows. I love everything else they've put out and could have easily gone with Blood Mountain, Remission, or Crack the Skye as my favorite of theirs. I'm a fan of loud and slow, though I do like other stuff as well. But stoner/doom type stuff is my preference. I usually end up just listening to noise rock or various -cores if I want it faster.

My brother advised me to give this band a try after I beat Spiro on PS2. For some reason right after I got off he found it necessary to tell me about it, but he told me in a way that made it sound like I needed to listened to it, almost as if it was mandatory. As if, if I hadn't listened to it I would never be blessed with the music he suggested. I heard he said he listened to it a week ago, and after he heard it he couldn't get it out of his head. You know when you have a song playing in your head and you just can't get it out of it, you know, no matter how hard you try it still remains there. So ther is no real way to get rid of it unless you discover a song which is equally as great as the one you listened to. He then told me he was planning on going to a club and discussing the lyrics behind the songs, they were going to go there a talk about what they thought the lyrics meant to the artist and what it signified in relation to the animal kingdom. They had these small pan flips which had a brief description of the kind of music they would be talking of, and it had small notes with subtle hints alluding to some mechanical junction without equipping it in a way that would reflect a pattern of fragments of what the lyrics said. So they would get into groups and discuss this song, and try to be very specific in describing what they thought of it.
He then started telling other people that they should listen to it also, and he was trying to find as many people whom listened to this band as possible. There was something about this band that they thought needed to be acknowledged, they thought it would benefit people if they listened to it. Not many people had actually ever heard of this band before, so it was hard to find many people that could say if they really listened to it or not. He said he thought he knew someone that once listened to this band, someone that he hung out with and they would play that cd while smoking. Though he talked to him and discovered that he had never listened to them before, and that he probably shared that song with someone other than himself. The strange thing is he didn't seem himself when I asked him this question, and I wondered why. He said his brother heard of that band before, but that he only listened to one song and couldn't give him a valid opinion on it.

Slowdive were on some massive drugs, and they tripped out making eggs, probably. love Shoegaze music. Slowdive were particularly good. so was Spiro.

Yeah all of Sabbath's music is about being conflicted Catholics questioning their faith. Well that's how I always saw it.

YOU WANT METAL!!!!!??????? There really is no best for me. I like something for about a month then get bored with it. I always go back to something I really like but it's never as good as the first 30 or so listens.
Through my window they arrive and bath me in lime glowing light They get me high as they abduct, I will do as they instruct They look towards their leafy ship, I understand and soon submit Take me away Kind bud kind of makes me cough In vapor trails of pot exhaust Kind bud space craft lifting off Tripping out from this spaceweed, blurring starlights whiz by me Flying further through deep space, traveling at cosmic pace Vast and nebulous their route, returning to home no doubt Fluid voyage to withstand, terrified, we start to land Arriving upon this new world, a dense planet of crystal leafed curls Pure sphere of thick vegetation, a highly evolved hemp civilization Fortifications and towers loom chronoliths cloaked in carnivourous flowers My mind is blow from what I see, extravagant extraterrestrial weed Kind Bud Space Bong Where the Kind live, Where the Kind live Where they creep, cruelty Where the Kind live, Where the Kind live Where the Kind live Through crowded streets I am the herded, briefly my death seems averted Past onlooking plant-people jeering, but it's where I am headed that I should be fearing Too stoned to attempt an escape but I do understand what awaits A table of instruments spells out my fate: a specimen to scientifically rape
Axis of faith Raw, and untamed in spirit To do and undo... We chew this world And Spit it out
Opinions rise and opinions fall At the end of days The trident stands tall With limitless range Illuminates all
Answers to no one Certain and bold It makes us Stick to the cause
The wear and tear Of agony stretched It makes us... It makes us stick to the cause
The dustcloud left From a charging bull Broken bones and bridges burnt Fuck them all - It never stops
The Sign of the Trident Stands paramount, eternal and tall With tears in our eyes Above them all
Answers to no one Certain and bold It makes us Stick to the cause
The wear and tear Of agony stretched It makes us... It makes us stick to the cause
Nothing, no nothing can challenge this call Larger than life, soul and sound Of undying tribal war
The cracking whip Held by and iron fist Determined and loyal A constellation of bright shining stars
Answers to no one Certain and bold It makes us Stick to the cause
The wear and tear Of agony stretched It makes us... It makes us stick to the cause
Aeons ago the legends tell we rode onward Led astray by the northern chaos gods Calm before the storm we came from the north... Horses roamed in the open landscaped
The scald sang to their kings Only he who battle wins The scald sang to their kings Let the battle he fought to the won
Tremble with fear for the banner of our kings War now calls heed to the battle Hear our swords clinging in the wind Men cast from their saddles horses roar and scream Descendants of wrath and the kingdoms of fear... The might we possess burn like fire The will remain in our northern hearts... More scalps to be won - an eye for an eye
Aeons ago the legends tell we rode onward Led astray by the northern chaos gods One by one by the northern tribe you fall One by one... die by the strongest of them all Still theres only greatness sunged in those who fell Who battled strong to win these wars... One by one we took your lives
Grey mist swirl across the meadows... Where battles once ruled the steps Where the ancient armours of bronce Are buried and corrored by time Strong where those who won the war... And the legends tell only of wrath As brothers of the northern tribes... They guarded the horders of chaos We leave this Battlefields ground Red where the rivers of blood Unforgotten by the ones... Born of strength and glory

Existence in eleven dimensions is an absurdity to beings that resonate in four dimensional reality.
