I definitely get this on LSD, especially anything more than 100 ug. I always see "blooming" colors in almost every object I observe, like flowering lotus shapes of flashing rainbows!

When I was tripping on top of a mountain, it was me and my 2 buddies. We had some WoW blotter, tasteless. Just 1 could make you trip nicely, you could feel that this this lucy was high quality and potent. When I stood up, I felt so clear headed and it was really clean feeling. It lifted me up gently, and carried me down the same way. Anyways, I took 3, my friends both took 2 each. During my peak, the coolest visual hallucination I got was color actually floating off my shirt, and my friends' shirts. When the wind changed direction, the color that wisped away from us changed direction with the wind. It was bizarre, but very cool. Crazy how it was changing right before my eyes, and it looked so real, changing dynamically with the wind. Any insects that flew by left a rainbow trail, i was to say the least.

This last summer I was enjoying my fruits frequently and usually I would lay a blanket out on my deck (deck is on the 2nd story of the house) after eating my fill. Most of my trips were at night time so that I could star gaze. I live in a area that is relatively rural so a lot of stars are visible, and from the comfort of your own deck it's amazing. I generally ate until I was full, which was always at least 40+ grams fresh. When I laid out on my deck listening to music and smoking, all the stars seemed to be connected by lines and these lines created the shape of humanoid figures. These humanoid figures walked around and sometimes would come down to look at me, putting one hand on my roof and the other on the ground. It appered like the entire universe was actually contained in a dome that seemed kind of like a barrier, it was composed of odd geometric shapes that looked kind of aztec/mayan. This barrier looked like it really enclosed the entire universe. The people walking in the sky were much closer than this barrier, and they too seemed so far away. Occasionally a large majority of the stars would come together to make a face and the faces seemed to pop out as if they were projections. They were always smiling and laughing, which made me happy. It would be difficult to recreate all this since it was difficult to simply come up with the words to describe it all, which by the way don't do the experiences justice.
this is a picture from Majora's mask (Zelda) and is what first popped up into my mind when I saw these visuals.

I noticed when I trip I get the same lines that connect stars. Now that I think about it, that could be how constellations came about. Maybe people long ago saw these while tripping

Awesome experience. Did you write up a more detailed report than this? Please post a link if you did.

It was always the same symbols across my field of view. It reminded me of mayan writing almost. I also always had the blue/magenta color separation on them. But I experience this on EVERY substance I trip on. See the gif of the kitties in my signature? I made that, that's the color separation I'm talking about. I'm not sure if everyone sees this, but those are the colors I always see while tripping.
When I dosed higher, it almost became difficult to move around. Because these symbols would be pulsing in my view and distorting the colors and lighting in my field of view. I always wondered what the symbols meant.. because they were so unordinary and out of this world.. and very consistent.

I actually have experienced that same blue/magenta color separation that you speak of. It also seems to happen with other colors, like purple and orange, or green and orange... It is an interesting phenomenon.
When I went to a Moe concert (last night actually) the light show seemed to amplify this color separation and effect. As for the Mayan-like symbols, I can't say I've seen anything like that!
Heh, you posted a Moe song on a thread I made when tripping and it made it quite a good time

Thats so weird, my first acid trip (very strong dose!) had very similar effects as this photo! Namely, the Mayan glyphs that pop up at the end of the animation loop.
I was looking at the sky, and I kept seeing floating/blending fragments of the Aztec Sun Calendar. Imagine this calendar below, but gray, within a cloud, and the fragments of it are at different angles, blending/floating into one another. It was an incredible sight I wish i could see again.

Now that would be a cool gif if I knew how to make them!
Also, I saw naked strippers dancing in the clouds that first trip too. I bet you guys would love seeing that gif
