They're very tasty if you can get to them before they're maggot ridden, but the stipe on that one looks purty skinny for augustus...
Show us a pic of the underside of the cap and the stem, nice and clear. I wouldn't id this shroom from just a mediocre top shot. ;-)

The gills start off very pale, then go to pink, mauve, brown, dark brown... Spore print is chocolate brown.
