Mycobags 80% colonized...break 'em up or not?
    #1888044 - 09/06/03 10:32 AM (14 years, 24 days ago)

The growth in my bags looks to have slowed quite a bit. Should I break up the bags to move the mycellium around? Waiting for 100% so I can case these bad boys. Just trying to speed the process up.

Yeah, grain. The temp is also dropping in my area. It's 69 now, and supposed to be a high of low 80's this coming week, mostly in the high 70's. That could slow it down as well.

Do it, it helps a lot. Don't crush the mycelium though. Be gentle.
