I wish I had a larger yard to put all of them in the ground.  I keep saying that I am done buying cactus, but then I see something rare or interesting or just beautiful.

The bottom three pictures were under a shade screen all summer to protect them from the afternoon sun and yesterday was the first day that I removed their shade since May.

Nice looking plants there Joe. My collection is coming along nicely too. I might do some re potting today. These big beasts are gonna be a pain to repot but I got some nice big 25 gallon pots for them.

I was recently given a cutting of a bridgesii from San Diego that supposedly has been there over 200 years. What do you suppose the Spanish were doing carrying around bridgesii and planting them?

Hmm, from what I've read the Spanish killed the natives for indigenous use of trichocereus cactus.  Maybe some of them were hypocrites and got a taste for psychedelia.
