A great example of what cobweb looks like
    #18878148 - 09/22/13 09:49 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

Heres a pic of cobweb growing on agar.  I've been dealing with it all summer, and my house is now crawling with the stuff. Sometimes it can be really hard to tell the differance between mycelium and cobweb. This is a good picture showing exactly what cobweb looks like.

Is that agar?

That looks like rhizopus to me but it certainly could be cobweb, I can't tell

Damn, you might be right. I just cleared a bumch of my trays with h202 so i kindve assumed cobweb. The air in my house is dense with these spores. At this point im not sure what to do but give up for awhile.

I think it is the mold rhizopus...you can see the little blobs at the end of the strands.

No, it is not dangerous to you. It is just another common contaminant mold.
