Normal white growth?
    #18875406 - 09/22/13 10:37 AM (10 years, 5 months ago)

Hi All,

I have these 2 straw logs with fruiting King Oysters.  When I checked on them this morning, the end of one of the logs was growing a white fur.  I opened the front flap of the portable greenhouse to take photos and left it open for 10 minutes or so and then noticed that the "fur" seems to be receding.  Was this just a FA issue?

Here's what it looks like now.

TIA

Yeah thats normal,
On your fur question, mycelium can vary the 'furryness' of their mycelium in response to the concentration of the food

Hmm...
