RR's rye berry tek

Greetings, I have some questions about RR's rye tek. I am going to inoculate 3 qt jars of rye berries I PCed this morning following the steps in the videos. I will be making my own syringe with a print I have. I have read 1 cc is enough per jar while others say use 2-2 1/2? I understand shaking the jar several times to break up the mycelium but then the following steps get a little fuzzy. Once the jars are fully colonized, I was planning on inoculating 3 more qt jars and then pouring the rest in a aluminum tray (9 x 11) and use RR's casing layer of verm/peat moss/gypsum/calcium carbonate. After I pour the grains into the tray, do I case it right away? Once it is cased it is covered with foil and holes are poked for FAE and when 20% of the casing is colonized it goes into the fruiting chamber? What do you do for a second and third flush?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance

Okay first, you don't shake several times. You shake once when you are at about 30% colonized, and once before you spawn/G2G.
One of those pint jars can be G2G'd into three quart jars, easily. The other two pints you can either make small trays or combine them into one tray.
1cc is plenty even for a quart jar. I always try to use as little spore solution as possible.
I can't help you with casing as I have never cased anything.

QFT you case right away. The rest of what you said is correct. Give it a really thorough misting to initiate new flushes.

You seem kinda mixed up... no worries, you're on the right track.
First off, how clean is this print, and how are you going to make the syringe?
What kind of GE filters and injection ports are on your jars, and are you planning on doing all this inside an SAB?
I'd worry about the first steps before you start worrying about expanding your myc and fruiting your tray.... it's going to take at least 2 or 3 weeks to colonize, maybe more.

My print is clean, I have already made one syringe from it and inoculated 6 jars that are about 80% colonized.
I have sterilized 2 syringes, water, and a shot glass (I also am going to inoculate 12 BRF jars) in my PC.
I have made a SAB and my rye jars have a double layer tyvek filter. I plan on opening the jars one at a time in the SAB just far enough to squirt in the spores or I can insert the needle through one of the holes in the lid of the jar through the tyvek. Which would work better? Thanks again!

tyvek sucks IMO/E, but it'll probably work just fine. Sounds like you're off to a good start.
you should buy some RTV Red Silicone, some SFDs, and make the lids that TL and many others, including myself, make.
You'd spend about 20 more bucks on all that...
As for casings and making a substrate, etc., you should buy some coco coir and verm and try the bucket tek out. Casings aren't really needed for cubes, which I assume is what you're growing. You'd have much better results layering or mixing your grains in with pasteurized coco coir and verm.
Let colonize until it is completely white with myc, and never ever peek. Check in 3 weeks or so... Use a high spawn ratio (1:1) for fast colonization and a good yield...
my edit: sorry, forgot to answer the question. Yes, just squirt some MS solution through the side of the lid really quick, or use micropore tape or something instead of tyvek... but don't poke a hole through the tyvek...

Go bulk, don't case grains! You'll have much more for it
