This thread got me thinking on how many tracks, samplers and fx slots I use on average:

Last track I made had little over 100 instrument/sampler tracks, 57 mixer tracks(each with app. 3-5 fx slots in use), and there were 168 pattern clips containing piano roll or automated events

Then there's some tracks that I've made, that have maybe 1/3 of that amount

I think thats more like the standard for professional electronic music producers. except with the 100 isntrument/sampler tracks wtf.

this is now a post your tunes thread.  I really want to hear that track rulesq

I was tempted to chime in on the arguments in the previous pages but I don't have the energy.

this is old, i haven't worked on any chunes in a while, but here is something.

i'm uploading the WAV to soundcloud, i'll put it and few other tracks up later. maybe i might even start a new track, i dunno. :datass:

PS: most of these tracks will not be completed songs, because i rarely complete a song.

this one would be best to be DL'd and thrown on with a normalizer. it's a sound collage.

I should probably have mentioned, that out of the 100+ instrument/sampler tracks, more than 50% are just duplicates of other instruments(like lead synths with slight modifications, legato on for slide notes or smthng), one shot fx&drum samples etc  but anyway.. I'll post the track asap

This is a mix I threw together of a song I'm working on. It probably won't be in the same arrangement when it's finished but that's the basics of it right there. Lots more to be added as well. I find I'm never done working on tracks. There's always something else I can add.
