DMT addiction?

I think I may have found myself addicted to smoking DMT.
I limit drug use strictly to the Summers, which I call "Psychedelic Summers," where I quit my job for the season and do copious amounts of mostly psychedelics. At first I was very scientific about my psychedelic trials, but once I really got the feel for the "high" I would get a little reckless and start mixing all sorts of drugs and these Summers became a slew of parties with excessive psychedelic use until I was friend by the end of Summer.
To stay healthy and well through all this, I eat very healthy; absolutely no junk foods what-so-ever. I take regular regiments of general vitamins, niacin, etc. and stay abstinent of drugs for the other 9 months of the year, with a few exceptions.
There's a couple of drugs I really rationalize as "O.K." during the recovery portion of the year. Ketamine, and DMT. Both short-acting and very powerful drugs that don't leave the user feeling fried afterwards. They're up there in my top 5.
I don't have the resources to be doing ketamine all the time, but I've become somewhat of a "DMT wizard," if you will, after I fell in love with it's simplicity a few years ago. There's something so magically basic about not only the compound, but the high as well. The first few times I smoked it, I felt absolutely terrified for the first half of the experience and a mild euphoria afterwards. But after repeat use the high is just straight euphoria, similar to ketamine.
I like to use the analogy: ketamine is the cocaine of psychedelics; as DMT is the crack-cocaine of psychedelics. Both I feel have addictive qualities. While a large dose of DMT seems to give me my fix for a couple days whole effectively scaring the shit out of me at the same time, I soon forget why I was frightened and go right back to hitting it. I've found myself using it to provide an escape from reality to cope with work and life-related stresses. It's normally a once or twice a week deal, and I always enlightening someone with their first DMT experience with what I've simulated to be the perfect conditions in which to smoke DMT under, using past experiences under all sorts of conditions.
Anyways, back on topic, I just wanted to see an open discussion to see if people agreed that DMT shows addictive qualities. Would I call myself a DMT junkie? Hey, I make it work quite well if I am.

As far as "psychedelic folklore from mind's eye," I don't particularly believe that DMT is anymore spiritual than any other psychedelic, other than the fact it's commonly found in nature including humans. Every trip is different in that it's inspired by the subconscious reaction to recent events in the user's life.
I came to that conclusion after a trip I experienced, shortly after stealing a lot of stereo systems from Walmart, in which dark figures came out of my center piece stereo system and looted my room until it wasn't even a room anymore, more/less like a field of sorts. Then they danced around in front of my face before stealing parts of my soul knowing damn-well that I couldn't do anything about it.
I interpreted this terrifyingly beautiful trip into: I felt guilty that I had become so engulfed in a sound system that was stolen from me months ago that I compromised my own morals and invaded Walmart to casually walk out with hundreds of dollars of unpaid sound systems knowing they wouldn't do anything about it. The devious, dark figures in my trip were paralleling my actions earlier that day.

I do not understand how people can use psychedelics for this reason. I use psychedelics to see the beauty and significance in everything around us. If I am having life-related stress and then trip, it forces me to confront the causes of my stress head on, sometimes making for very difficult trips. It then makes me try to take actions to change the things that are causing me stress.

Yeah i find it somewhat addicting. Probably the only drug that I could abuse if given the chance. But it also feels the safest to me so I don't mind as long as I give my lungs enough of a break

I can relate. Back when I got a gram of DMT, I was smoking that shit multiple times a day for 2 weeks. It was definitely my heroin for a little. I'd take that first fat hit, hold it in, feel that euphoria and chill out in my rocking chair.
I got some a little bit ago, and the same thing happened. Except I finished like .66g in 2-3 days.... It's just cause it's so fast and cool, that it's easy to abuse.

High doses of DMT seem to feel like I'm trying to force myself into the nexus and I just don't quite get there, I lose visual touch with reality and get lost in what looks like a wavy checkered flag if all the checkers were somehow triangles. It's not that pretty or enjoyable really, so I stick to low-moderate doses to get really high and enjoy the open-eyed visuals and auditorial hallucinations.
