Ihave have done a lot of research, and I am fairly certain that I have identified these, As liberty caps,  but would like more opinions. I am just trying to be safe, before eating something. These are everywhere!

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
In the woods, mainly under pine trees, in moss, found in Colorado mountains. Very high altitude, near a river.
Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Not attached, some brownish, most grey blue

stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Long, skinny stem, I Think they are hollow, but they are very smallI, so it's hard to tell
:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Caps are mainly conical or umbonate, very small, largest are not much more add than a centimeter

Spore print color:
Very important!
Most have rusty purplish Brown, and variations of that

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
Several exhibit bluish bruising on the stems and edges of caps

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

First of all they are Absolutely not Psilocybe semilanceata (Liberty caps), so DO NOT EAT THEM.

I agree definitely not liberty caps.

Most likely a Panaeolus sp.

Edit: They are not a Panaeolus sp. if the spore prints are not Black. Could we get pics of the bluish bruising at the bottom of stem/round the caps?

They are very interesting specimens though that I cannot ID from the photo, I would like you to try to get close up pictures of the gills, the cap and the stem, take these pictures of only one or two of them for these pictures. Also try to get a photo of the bluing that you see. Oh, and photos of the spore prints.

Not if the spore prints look like he says, also the habitat is wrong for both Panaeolus and Liberty caps. It also does look like there may be some bluing on some of those. There are no Psilocybes known to be common in Colorado.

Can you please explain why not, and what you think they are? Also, these are just the most blue grey, most were mainly Brown, and all of them have radial grooves.
Most of them were hidden  under tall grass or bushes, on moss under pine tree.

My apologies for the  picture, btw.

Yes, we are very close to the floods have had alot of rain all summer. Many mycology clubs come to the mountains, because not alot of people know that they thrive here.

I know I realized shortly after putting that :crazy2:

The blue bruising would make things interesting

I have hunted from Boulder to Estes Park area, very awesome place. It's hard to believe how much damage the floods did, especially in the Lyons area. I have driven through there on many occasions just for the scenery.

I would imagine there will be all sorts of mushrooms out this fall due to the flooding.

Here are some close up pictures of the mushrooms. I can't get a good picture of the spore print, so I am making a new one, at the moment.
I have included some of the more bluish ones, and some of the Brown ones.
I am near the Estes park  area

Some of the more bluish ones, acc couple of Brown ones, and some teeny tiny ones that are very blue.

Sorry, again, about the quality of my camera

Very interesting. Can you borrow a camera and take some focused pictures? Maybe stick some in the fridge do you can photograph them again tomorrow? I'm not really seeing any blue. I do see a couple that look like they are bruising very darkly.

For some reason, the blue shows up as dark grey on my camera. Iwill try to get better pictures soon.

Use the  :macrofunction: on your camera to get a more clear shot.

I don't have that setting, unfortunate. I only have a camera phone.
What are people's opinions on what is here?

It's really hard to say, that's why we keep asking for better pictures. If you say there are variations of the color of the spore print you probably have more than one species. Also I don't think I've ever heard of a spore print being described as both purple AND rusty brown, usually they would be one or the other, which also makes me think you might have more than one type.

It kind of looks like they are staining bluish on my screen but it isn't clear that it's blue or just dark. If you could borrow a friends camera or even have a friend take pictures if they don't want to loan out the camera it would be awesome. Especially so we could get a look at the spore prints, allowing us to determine if these are all the same. If they turned out to be something active it would make alot of people from Colorado very happy.

Most camera phones have macro under settings.
