Find in the foothills of the French Alps
    #18871725 - 09/21/13 11:36 AM (10 years, 4 months ago)

Just got back from a nice walk in some farmland.
Curiously enough there were a load of birdhunters, so everywhere I turned was a man with a shotgun.

These were all found in the grass in wide pastures, most of which I imagine at some point recently held cattle, some of which definitely did.

I'm not so much intending to ingest these, just to further my knowledge of the shroomies in the area for future hunts.

I feel like the Type B might be some Panaeolus cinctulus.
I was hoping the same with Type A when collecting but now I'm thinking the gills are too white.

Currently in the process of taking prints, will update tomorrow morning with the outcome.

So yeah, thanks for any help anyone could provide!

Really?
All the same even?
What a shame.  At least they're edible I suppose...

Well thanks very much for your help!
I'll try to hunt harder next time I suppose, I am sorta on the hunt for actives.
Apparently Panaeolus cinctulus and the good ol' Liberty Cap should be quite abundant right now.
