Just wondering if the Puerto Rican strain is a slow developer or what?? I innoculated 3 day's ago and still nothing but my pink Buffalo's started showing signs of growth today, well 2 atleast. Any comments will help even if they are "calm the f**k down it has only been 3 day's beginner", thanks for all the help my fellow shroomheads..

With the PR strain you need to be very patient. VERY PATIENT! Just ignore them for a couple days... You be suprised...

I've never tried these but a friend of mine has.  We started a batach at the same time.  I was growing with the Amazonian strain.  I ended up harvesting about a week before he did.  :tongue2:

also the "Puerto Ricans" are very good strain i did my firs caseing with them and man let me tell u what u wont regret this strain(they grow fast and have a pritty good yeild if u do it right(and u will have a asmoe Tripppp !!!!!)

Yeah they also overlay like a mofo and stall like crazy, also abort more than any other cube. I started growing them 2 years ago when they were still pretty wild, I think they're getting more domesticated now as more people isolate them and grow them out.

i had no proble with them, its the best 1 i have tried yet.(grow fast and u will be " fucked up " !! ) i think there pritty good in my book

Smeagal spawned some horse poo with wbs that had a PR infection .

when the substrate was colonized he added a casing layer, and sent it straight to the fruiting box . he had no overlay .
there were a lot of aborts . he thinks it was because there were more pins then the substrate could support . :crazy:

SWIM knocked up 3 PR and 3 EQ's, three days ago....
EQ's have myc all over the top and PR's show NOTHING so far.
Glad to hear they not DOA, just SLOW... I Hope.
