Thinking of starting a myco supply/grow supply/entheogenic online store.

In buying supplies for my mycological adventures, I've noticed that most places either don't ship to canada, or want a ridiculous amount of money to do so.
I've been talking with a few contacts who could supply me with things like Syringe filters on the cheap in bulk, and other mycological supplies that I could use for things like lids, and pre-sterilized substrates.
Here's the great thing:
After having looked through the shroomery sponsors, I'm confident I can beat almost everybody in terms of pricing, without sacrificing quality. For example, a jar lid on a website costs 4$. I can sell it for 2$. Ect.
What i'd like to know is if there are sufficient people who would be interested in a Canadian based store, and if so, what sort of payment and shipping methods would you like to see? (Most vendors have not so great payment options and even worse shipping methods. I'd personally also like to accept bitcoins)
Basically an all round store that would have everything for mycology: Micropore tape, Synthetic filter disks, alcohol lamps, substrate material, petri dishes, ect ect ect.
This would only be profitable for me, and allow me to undercut everyone if i bought everything in bulk, which is why i'm making this thread, just to get a feel for the market.
EDIT: It would not be restricted to Canada, I'd ship worldwide, it would just be based in Canada.

The tricky bit will be scaling things up quickly so you can actually benefit from the economies of scale that are associated with buying in bulk. Still, if you're convinced that it can work - go for it. There's entrepreneurs who believe in something and that take a risk, and there's people who aren't entrepreneurs at all

I have a lot of things honestly just lying around, so starting wouldn't be very risky, imho.

OP you seem to be asking people to do your market research for you, haha. You seem to have a good idea of what you will have to do and if you honestly think that the business will be a success then just go for it. It matters not whether anyone here validates it, all you're doing is letting people steal your idea if it is golden. It's good to conceive ideas like this though man, good luck to you if you do decide to go ahead with it.

Yea, I'm pretty much using this forum as market reaserch. I was thinking if i started osmething like this, i'd get listed as a shroomery sponsor or something.
The thing is, if i post a few threads in various forums and i check to see if people are looking for a service such as this, then i know wether or not people will be inclined to buy from me.
I could easily set up a store in a day or so- But that doesn't mean anyone will buy any products from it.
Thanks for your input!

If you can supply spore vials/syringes and there's no other company locally then you've got a good chance at making some money as you can beat competitors when it comes to price and delivery time.

I'm not familiar with the market for mushroom growing supplies as I'm not a mushroom grower, but I would say that when I order things online I usually try to find a place in Canada if I can. Shipping tends to be cheaper and there are no border delays.

I've got a few ideas about this floating around in my head. I'll set something up and see how people respond.
