Well I did my first harvest today from my 4 home grown burley plants. I picked off the bottom leaves from these huge plants.

I was told tobacco wont grow here.... well i proved the haters wrong

Some of the leaves were as big as a pillow. massive..... the biggest ones are still to harvest (closer to the top)

I washed all the bugs and dirt off the leaves . then bunched them in bunches of 5-6

got about 35 leaves hanging right now.... prob another 50 leaves left to harvest still
gonna hang dry em till they are dry.... then cure em.. then finish drying. then they should be good to smoke.
I got a bunch of small leaves im saving for rolling REAL blunts with
I dont even smoke cigs.... not sure what im gonna do with all this tobacco

Here is my one dog posing next to my warrior (a cool wedding gift my bro got me)

I don't know anything about curing it, but I wanted to congratulate you on some beautiful plants!
I really want to grow a plant next year but I'm not sure of the laws in Colorado in regards to things like tobacco and cotton.

ya it was super easy to grow. This was my first time growing tobacco so i was happy with the results.
I also grew Poppies, peppers, raspberries, tomatoes and few other vegetables. I love watching plants grow. pretty amazing to watch a seed smaller then a poppy seed grow to a plant taller then me.

curing it involves letting it dry out, then re-moistening it, and letting it re-dry until its a nice deep golden color
