Godless objective moral
    #18867250 - 09/20/13 11:27 AM (10 years, 4 months ago)

Do you think there is a way for objetive morality to exist without a god. That there could be moral principles that can apply to all lifeforms anywhere in this universe?

What about a concinoness universe?

What do you get when you cross a conch with a lioness?

It's either admit or deny, or just plain don't remember.

I once read that morals only exist to fill in the gaps where feeling has been lost due to emotional scarring and I really believe that. If you are truly in touch with your feelings, do you not feel something is right/wrong without having to question morality?

--------------------
Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

It could be possible, who is to say?

I doubt the existence of objective morality however

I think you might be able to find your answers if you trace back humanity all the way to our roots. I am no expert but I would think that paleo humans did tend to look out for each other. Was there an existent god within every tribe? And every unique culture? Probably not.

Who the hell knows. I don't.

I think it is possible. It's possible for me because I have already been influenced by the world and everything around me. But what if people were born into a world where nothing existed but nature. Would paleo humans govern with hate or love?
