Bugs on my mushrooms... PLEASE help 1

This probably sounds pathetic but this is the second time i go to look at my mushrooms i picked a day ago and there covered in tiny fucking bugs that jump so fast you dont even see them move, this time there is also bloody maggots on my shrooms! Its making me pretty damn uncomfortable which isnt where i want to be when im tripping...
How can i avoid bugs hatching in or inhabiting shrooms i pick? Really making me feel quite paranoid knowing these tiny little bugs are in my room :/
Any kind of advice would be great...
NOTE: I have had no previous fear of bugs, they usually are not a problem but just seeing the way these things essentially teleport covering large distances very quickly makes me feel horrible!

bugs will jump off when they are drying, just make sure the drying process is fast, and outside, fan, hot weather, direct sun. if not, shoe box with a fan or something to dry them, not heat though, they will scatter, and any dead ones left is just extra protein for the trip.

Try to coax them out by blowing on the gills of the mushrooms while outside, or tap the caps until they all come flying out. Dammit Joust! You beat me to the or just enjoy the protien.

The faster you dry your mushrooms, the faster the bugs die. Then the larvae never have a chance to hatch.

I can only eat them fresh i live with my parents so cant just blast the oven for 5 hours without them getting suspicious of its contents... Its scotland so there is never the desired sun, and i defiantly couldn't have a shoe box with a fan without attracting attention...
And what about maggot eggs hatching after i pick them?

A fan and or dehumidifier somewhere with decent airflow is probably your best bet.

Airing cupboard is also great, but slow.

Why is that? They will either die. Or they will hatch and then die.

dry em well first though, get all that bacteria dead. or make hot tea. Whenever there are bugs in mushrooms, i always inform the tripper to take them in hot tea fresh, or make sure they are nice and dry. The thought of eating bugs is not good for most people in a trip setting, you dont notice anything when dried or in tea, just strain the tea out well. or use a loose leaf ball.

If you are eating them fresh, you should only eat the firm, fresh looking, fairly young(you still want to let them mature enough so that they can drop those precious spores )specimens. Otherwise they will definitely have significant bacterial colonies and probably some insects as well. So if you are exclusively eating them fresh you should not pick any that are past young maturity, at least if you care if you eat bugs and germs.
Maggots become flies. Probably those fast jumping little buggers are the hatching maggots. I've seen either the same bugs or something very similar, especially on Pleurotus species.

Mmk, drenched the shrooms which i feel was kinda stupid, got all the bugs out tho, now if i picked the mushrooms, kept them in a cool dark place for around 30 hours, then soaked them, then made tea with them 8 hours or so after soaking them withiout drying then would the mushrooms still be drinkable as a tea?
