I was going to say, 70mg of 4-aco-dmt is ridiculous. I haven't been able to maintain sanity with anything over 25.

Personally, I am of the belief that if the substance is clean then the resulting trip is entirely influenced by the following factors: (In order of importance) 1. Your state of mind (good thoughts= good trip, bad thoughts= bad trip) 2. Who you are with/around (nice people= nice trip, bad people= bad trip) 3. What you are doing (fun things=fun trip, anything you don't consider fun= bad trip) 4. Extrenal influences / stimuli (i.e. things going on around you that you can't control/influence for the betterment of your trip= a worse trip)
These are my guidelines & if followed should work for anybody

Hi thanks for the first thoughtful and helpful response.
True my mind has not been in the best place lately due to life events and a transformation stage of life. However drugs are part of the process of building the new self.
With regards to 2+3 I always trip in my room alone, unless at a psytrance party.

Thanks for reminding me, 5. Avoid closed in places, you almost always feel trapped
In this case: trapped ALONE with your NEGATIVE thoughts!
See where this is taking you, without anyone to bring you back to Cheeriville

Well where else to trip?
My friends don't live in this area and tripping in public is not a good idea.. it happened to me before where I had to try and navigate public transport (on the way home from psytrance party) while on ACID.. can provoke a lot of panic/anxiety.

Understand that what your doing is deep and important. Ie be very aware the difference between taking it as for a party, buzz etc and for deeper healing. Not that you cant have amazing insights in a 'recreational' trip, but in my experience if your in that scene and some weird shit somes up you feeel pressure to try and hide it from others because you dont want to 'ruin the laugh'. So be aware of what you want, and the possibility of that happening in a party cituation.
IF you keep having 'bad trips' which I wouldn't call bad, but rather difficult, then you have to pay careful attention to set&setting. The setting is where you choose to take it, and set is your intention, how you feel etc.
I am not good with measurement info, but it sounds you took a lot? So be wise, if you keep having difficult trips pay attention to the dosage;
PREPARE the right kind of place you are going to have your next trip that will be pleasing;
What is your intention? It maybe the question 'why do I keep having difficult experiences?'
I am not sure what they are so I cannot reflect any ideas. If you'd like to share what you mean by 'bad trips' feel free to share with me this information, and I could further offer suggestions.

Granted my experience is limited to a time spent doing high doses of syrian rue and mushrooms. Most of those trips were bad, even though I wasn't aware of it at the time. If I was aware of it then it was horrifically bad.
For a trip alone in a nice setting. There is basically yourself. So majorly it is your state of mind and SKILL in dealing with your mind that makes a bad trip or good trip. I just wanted to say that developing a skill with dealing with your mind is so important. If fear arises you must recognize it, and after recognizing it use proper ways of reflecting to diminish it, either in letting go of yourself (which is hard as hell), or in focusing on a desire for happiness in the world, or a desire to prevent pain in the world, or delighting in what happiness you do see in the world sympathetically.
And so to with sadness, recognize it, and reflect in particular ways. I suspect that the majority of negative states in tripping and ordinary life can be skillfully controlled via letting go of yourself though incredibly hard. I'm saying that when it is really horrible, reflect on the reality of your unreasonable conceit. For what reason do I value me or create a conception of me? Truly I don't have a reason, there are 7 billion people in the world and I am the most important to me. For what reason, I do not feel other peoples pain, pleasure, unhappiness, or happiness. But that is no good reason. I am merely motivated to conceive of "me" by the direct experience of this body and mind, and further to attach and worship it. These reflections or thoughts, or related thoughts, might lead you to a peaceful place, maybe they won't too so be careful.
Also, maintaining a blamelessness within yourself and the way you live will hopefully help you to be happy and have happier trips. So if they are bad, then maybe its time to start investigating and cultivating ordinary life for awhile. Hopefully this advice helps.
Well good luck in your trips. By the way, I don't trip regularly anymore. I might this year, but I haven't decided.
