Weird experience while on shrooms?

Hey Shroomery, new to the forums. So I'm sorry if I posted this in the incorrect section.
Anywho, back on topic. Yesterday was my 18th Birthday (yay) and I've eaten shrooms a number of times, so for my birthday I decided to eat shrooms instead of the stereotypical 'get drunk as fuck' birthday routine. Now, my problem is, yesterday while on shrooms, I experienced something very very weird, it had never happened to me before. The shrooms were hitting me as they normally would with warping, breathing, and the spiritual effects I usually experience. However, when a few hours into them, while sitting down, I got this huge light headed/head rush like sensation, but in a way I never felt before. (AND TRUST ME, I hit batch bowls with half a batch stick sometimes, and I clear every molecule of smoke in each hit, so I know a really violent head rush.) Usually head rushes go away within 20 seconds to 10 minutes for me, however, it had been 30 minutes, and the head rush only began to grow more and more violent, and while it was growing in strength, my eye sight began going poor, everything was turning bright and white while I kept hearing this fucked up ringing sensation in my ear. I immediately got up and panicked back home (which was luckily 15 steps away) and fell into bed before my sight had gone completely white or before I fell over (walking was so difficult, but I had to do it) I felt like I was dying, than blinked and an hour or so had passed and I felt fine, still shroom tripping, but fine.
What was this? I've never experienced this. It was honestly the scariest thing I had ever experienced in my life. I even ate another bundle of the same shrooms to see if it was the shrooms or just me, luckily it didn't happen again, but I'm very confused. Could someone explain to me what this was? Or if it's ever happened before? Is this normal, or should I be concerned?
Thank you Shroomery for your time.

I may of experienced something similar to what your describing, was the ringing in your left ear or your right, how loud did the ringing get and what sort of ringing noise was it.

It could have been something as simple as a migrain, experienced through the psychedelic prism. I haven't had one on shrooms but if I get them they pretty much come on exactly as you described.

Maybe you were doign something interdimensionally. like what happens on dmt.
Other than that, I have no idea. Dont worry about it unless it keeps happening esp while "sober"/"normal".

The way you describe it sounds like you fainted. It's not a normal reaction to shrooms but it's also not uncommon. It happened to me once, very weird. I now don't eat mushrooms anywhere where it would be weird if I fainted. It's also never happened to me acid, nor have I heard of anyone fainting on acid.
Interesting, I wonder why it happens with psilocybin. Common theories are that it messes with blood pressure or blood sugar, but that's just the opinion of random shoomerites.
Most importantly if you feel like your gonna faint, lay down. Hitting your head is bad.
Or it was aliens

That sucks man. I've only fainted twice. First was the shrooms and second I was just being stupid. Very hungover, slammed a huge cup if coffee, then took a bong hit. I walked up to a breakfast place and fainted as soon as I walked in. I realized I needed to take better care if myself lol. The op sounds like he was tripping just fine before the head rush came.
I think it's funny you tried the shrooms again right after lol. I was afraid to trip again for a few months after my fainting episode.

Low blood sugar. Let me set up the scenario. You fasted a few hours before eating your shrooms, so they'd kick in smoothly on an empty stomach. Either from the shrooms, or maybe from a light snack you ate after taking the mushrooms, your body releases a rush of insulin to take care of the stuff now in your belly. But wait! Alas! all that insulin and no real food to break down!? Boom. Low blood sugar.
-------------------- Species List (Georgia): Psilocybe caerulescens/weilii, Psilocybe atlantis/galindoi, Psilocybe cubensis, Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata, Psilocybe caerulipes, Psilocybe semilanceata, Psilocybe fagicola, Copelandia cyanescens, Panaeolus cinctulus, Panaeolus fimicola, Panaeolus olivaceus, Gymnopilus luteofolius, Gymnopilus aeruginosus, Gymnopilus junonius, Pluteus salicinus (Ohio): Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata, Psilocybe caerulipes, Pluteus cyanopus, Pluteus salicinus sensu lato..., Panaeolus cinctulus, Gymnopilus luteus, Gymnopilus luteofolius, Gymnopilus junonius, Gymnopilus aeruginosus

Yea man good point. Definitely a possibility. The one time I fainted from shrooms I intentionally fasted prior. Also I always have some tic tacs or something when I trip. Usually a little sugar makes me feel awesome.

I have actually only had the low blood sugar thing happen to me on cubensis. With P. caerulescens, I never get any weird body load, no nausea, and no weird ear popping or stiff joints. Other than the ones I roll.
