Yeah I wasted 20 mins on this video, a whole lot of talking but nothing was said. At first I thought okay, maybe this guy has some kind of valid or interesting point to make. You know, maybe there's some kind of link between the two incidents. He came no where near linking the two in any logical way. He just described both things and said that maybe they're related.
This guy just likes to hear himself talk, maybe he likes to think he has important things to say. Listening to him was like pulling teeth. He talked so fucking slowly. I mean goddamn what a long drawn out pointless little rant. He repeated nearly everything he said. Seriously where the fuck is the connection? He needs to cut his hair and quit making shitty youtube videos.

The DC shooter illustrates one thing about idiotic, stupid liberal policy that the government has put in place: You can be a paranoid schizoprhenic and get a fucking top secret/W special background investigation security clearance because they can't discriminate against 'disabled' but if you smoked a joint and got caught you won't get the TS clearance.

Yeah, show me where the DC shooter had a top secret clearance. Then show me where liberals want guns in the hands of the mentally ill. Then show me where liberals want to take away security clearances for smoking a joint.

The DC shooter had a secret clearance, excuse me. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/16/suspected-us-shooter-ha_n_3938005.html That's still pretty hard to get nowadays, you can't get one if you used drugs in the last 5 years as far as I know.
2) I never said liberals wanted guns in the hands of the mentally ill. You see, he had a gun illegaly so gun control would have been worthless, right?
3) Do you know any republicans who want paranoid schizophrenics to have security clearances? On the other hand, once the 'be kind to the mentally ill' policies--which the left pushes--got to be popular (just look at all the schizophrenics and other mentally ill that are on the streets because of this policy) the right supports it because they don't want to look like they are against the mentally ill.
My point is, how the fuck did this head case, with a history of mental illness, problems in the military, etc, get a job on a military base that required a security clearance? This fucking nut-job should have been locked up in a hospital wearing a houdini-housecoat.

I'm guessing because it was contracted to a private company who doesn't give a shit. The same people who gave Eddy Snowblow his security clearance gave this fucker his.

That may be true. But as far as I know, the company that gives the clearance has to give the info to the government. the problem is, almost every case of high-level espionage in the US wasn't because of drugs, etc, but because someone was greedy for a lot of money.
That's why the governments security clearance program is complete bullshit--it can't predict the ideologues, nuts, or people that have pure greed as a motive to sell the country out.

Yeah, but if they're telling the government they do a 15 point background check and that they're safe when in reality they did a 5, you know what I mean? Kind of like when they were packaging up MBS saying they were solid investments when the majority of them were shit mortgages.

He didn't JUST have schizophrenia, the guy was a head case that had bipolar black outs, post traumatic stress disorder and a pistol with shotgun.
Enough with this 'I'm hearing voices I can't be expected to keep a job, work in public' bullshit.
What the fuck?

He kept his clearance from when he was in the reserves. Having a security clearance is a requirement for many jobs around here and most companies expect the employee to have one already.
