Verification of "Cyanescens"
    #18863804 - 09/19/13 04:43 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

Look I picked these yesterday--9/18--in the Seattle area and initially I thought that they were possibly Cyanescens, I need help:

Habitat:
Beneath Alders and some Maple on a gradually sloped hillside.

Gills:
Tan when picked, later got darker brown.

Stem:
~6 cm in length, ~1/4-1/2 cm width, white, solid not hollow.

Cap:
Mostly ~3-5cm diameter, tan in color, smooth texture and quite dry when picked, flat and some had a bump in the middle. A couple were wavy.
Spore print color: WHITE, this is when I began to get confused about their ID: therefore NOT going to ingest or play around with them, just interested in some feedback.

Bruising:
Began to bruise dark brown about an hour after being picked.

There were Amanitas growing within 10 feet of some of the mushrooms I picked but I did not touch or spore print the Amanitas. Here are pictures of the mystery (to me, thats why im here) mushrooms including the white spore prints from said mushrooms:

Not sure what the last two pictures are... Spore prints?

Also will echo what the smarter than I folks are saying... Not cyans or psilocybe at all

good to know. my only guess after some research is that they're entoloma sinuatum b/c of similar appearance and a white/pink spore print which would mean the mushrooms i picked are poisonous.
