Hey guys, hope everyone is doing good. First off I would like to the thank RR and some of the other guys for their informative and effective posts getting me even this far. Relatively new member here, long time lurker on the grow logs. Appreciate all the good info out there.
So my friend's got 12 jars of what are apparently 2 different strains of P. Cubensis. He doesn't know what either of these strains are. He was given some spores and told there was a "brown" colored mushroom strain and a "White" albino looking mushroom strain and the foil containing the spores were marked appropriately. I had a chance to eat the white ones that the spores were taken from and had a good experience. Hopefully you guys can help me identify them if and when they fruit, but we'll get to that later.
I started out with Psilocyber's syring tek (thanks Psylociber). It went smoothly. I made 3 syringes of each strain and used 2 (1 of each), saving the unused portion of the syringes of course.
My pressure cooker was a bit too small, so I had to sterilize 8 jars, then 4 at a future time. Because of this I have 2 groups of currently colonizing jars, working at two different phases of the process. I gave both batches about ~70 mins of steaming time to sterilize.
The pics here are of the first batch of 8 jars at about 2 full weeks of colonization. I labeled the albino jars "white", until they can be hopefully identified by their actual name.
To start things off, is this a possible contam? I sure hope not!

Same jar from farther away, to show colonization

#2, who is at about 40-50% colonized

This one is a bit slower, at about 30% good colonization. I guess I have to patient.

Another one of the "white" jars. Going a bit faster at about 45% colonized.

This one has better overall coverage at about 65%, but the mycellium isn't quite as strandy or robust as some of the other jars, but its getting there

Another jar with nice, even coverage. The mycellium is stronger-looking on this one

These last two are the star athletes of the squad. They are at about 75% colonized and the strongest-looking of the bunch. One had a problem of only growing on one side, which I believe indicates an improper inoculation technique on my part. However it doesn't seem to matter as its moving over to the other side of the jar gradually.
^this is the one who grew on one side
^My nicest one IMO. Nice and strandy!

Hay man when you are taking pictures move away all green thing from that area.
This looks good.

Namely I started with 0.25mg.....and my intention was to increase dosage to see if something will happened. That very small dosage, the first dose of my experiments i planed, was very very strong.

These next 4 did an interesting thing. Since they were my second attempt at the inoculation procedure I think I was bit more thorough. Whatever the reason, they are colonizing at a much more rapid pace when compared to the earlier batch of 8. In fact all four jars of the later batch have passed up one or two of the earlier jars. I am a bit worried about the moisture content, which hopefully you guys may be able to provide input on. The only difference was that these 4 were kept in relative darkness, while the earlier 8 had been exposed to indirect daylight coming in through the window. These 4 are all of the "white" variety.
I apologize in advance about the bad pics! All I had was my camera phone, unfortunately.
 ^Too much moisture?

You are absolutely right! I didn't even notice the reflection on the glass when I took the pics, sorry about that.
Let me clarify that there is nothing green on any of the jars (AFAIK). The little glass tree sitting there reflected the color. Ive seen trich on another person's grow and hopefully would be able to recognize it fairly early on.
Let me ask you this, do you think the little yellow dots on that first pic posted are of any concern? They are bugging me a little bit.

nice camera. Well light will not slower it down but direct sun light might. My guess is you did the right moisture on other 4 cakes. Or sun light evaporated you moisture from that 8 jars, not much but enough to slower it down.

Thanks for the input! It was also much hotter when the first batch was inoculated, so that makes sense. My rooms median temperature throughout the day was between 80-85F. That may have been a factor in evaporating some of the moisture. I also read about the metabolites. Thats a relief, thanks!
